Printa Systems' Promotional Product News is always on the hunt for innovative and exciting screen-printing success stories. Joystiq's WoW Insider writer Anne Stickney‘s recent interview with artist and T-shirt designer Julia Minamata clearly demonstrates the amazing creative outlet that screen-printing offers.

A die-hard World of Warcraft aficionado, Minamata uses silk screen printing as one of her chosen mediums of self-expression. This freelancer has a background in illustration and has worked for such notable clients as "Business Week", "The National Post" and "The New Yorker". Her whimsical and dreamy World of Warcraft T-shirt designs are based on a limited color palette that brings to mind old-style video games. She has designed and screen-printed her distinctive T-shirts for family and friends for a number of years, but only recently began offering these works of art to the public. Her love of science fiction and fantasy are clearly evident in these original tees, all of which she creates by hand in her home studio.

At Promotional Product News we appreciate the skillful artistry of Julia Minamata. We hope that her story may inspire other screen-printers to let their creative juices flow. Every Printa customer can achieve their design dreams with screen-printing; the sky's the limit.
